TVEd Young Journalists – Brambles Believers

It began as a normal assembly on a normal day, and as always, we headed into our Core Value Champion assembly. Everything seemed the same, until our headteacher, Mr Mayle, started playing music on the piano and one thing was certainly not normal- he had turned into the one and only Shrek!

Suddenly, from out of nowhere, bursting through the door, was…Donkey (Mr Baker)! Donkey was dancing around the hall making the children go wild with excitement while Shrek continued to play the piano. It was hilarious. Not only that, but more characters also joined in: Puss-in-Boots (Miss Begloo), Fiona (Miss Gaskarth) and the Gingerbread Man (Miss Howard). The hall erupted as some of the teachers joined in too. As laughter filled the room, it was announced that the 2025 TVED musical would be Shrek! We cannot wait for opening night!
